Advocacy, policy and action for an Australian arts sector that's ambitious and fair

Grant Writing Success

Free workshop, 4 - 6pm Wednesday 7 August 2019 at Newcastle Art Gallery, Hunter Region NSW

Writing grants is a challenging process. There is a certain nous to matching your idea with the appropriate grant, a definitive ‘art’ to writing and collating support material and a key to understanding application guidelines to gain a clearer understanding of funding criteria. You will be provided with an introduction to funding bodies, tips for researching the right grant for your needs and given an outline of professional support material.

Location: Newcastle Art Gallery

Date: Wednesday 7 August

Time: 4.00pm - 6.00pm

This is one of two free workshops available in the Hunter. If you are interested in attending a session on Valuing Your Work, at Maitland Regional Art Gallery, please follow this link.

This project is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.

NAVA acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the land where this event is taking place, the Awabakal and Worimi peoples and others who traded on, travelled through and connected with this land, and continue to do so. We recognise all Custodians of Country throughout all lands, waters and territories. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
