Get that art grant workshop for Northern Beaches Council

Free workshop, 6-8pm Thursday 20 May 2021 for artists local to Northern Beaches.

Thinking of applying for one of our Arts & Creativity Grants?  Learn how to write a stand-out grant application in this presentation by leading arts advocacy organisation, NAVA (National Association for the Visual Arts)

You will learn skills to match your idea with the appropriate grant, draft and collate support material and increase your understanding of application guidelines and funding criteria.  You will also learn a bit about NAVA and be introduced to the Code of Practice for the Professional Australian Visual Arts, Craft and Design Sector. The Code is both a record and a benchmark of best practice across the contemporary arts including legal, ethical and financial business practices, as well as thorough arts industry guidelines.

This workshop may also be helpful for creatives working across other artforms.

Spaces are limited.
