NAVA at Cairns Indigenous Art Fair

Visit NAVA's Industry Booth at the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF), 9-12 July 2026, The Tanks Art Centre, Gimuy QLD.

NAVA is proud to be joining the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) as an Industry Booth.

Since 2009, CIAF has grown into a world-class, year-round platform showcasing the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes/Torres Strait Islander art and culture, from rainforest to reef, desert to freshwater.  More than an art fair, CIAF is a movement: a catalyst for truth-telling, cultural exchange, and contemporary expression across visual art, performance, music, fashion and storytelling.

Come and talk to Georgia Mokak (First Nations Outreach Coordinator) and Shoufay Derz (Professional Development Coordinator) at the NAVA booth. We can offer guidance on how to navigate the Code of Practice for Visual Arts, Craft and Design and how it can support you as an artist, arts worker or someone who engages with First Nations artists and communities.

If you are a First Nations artist and/or arts worker who would like to book time with Georgia and Shoufay, please reach out at georgia@visualarts.net.au.

We look forward to connecting with you in Gimuy!
