NAVA at Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair 2026

Experience the rich diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, design and culture at the 20th Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF), held annually each August in Darwin, on Larrakia Country and online.
The only national event of its kind, DAAF has secured a reputation as one of the country’s most significant and internationally recognised arts events, creating a unique opportunity to connect with, and ethically purchase artwork directly from over 75 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Centres from across Australia.
NAVA's First Nations Policy and Advocacy Manager, Georgia Mokak, and First Nations Outreach Coordinator, Jodie Dowd, will be at the fair to talk with artists, arts workers and educators about the Code of Practice for Visual Arts, Craft and Design. They'll offer guidance on navigating the digital resource and how it can support artists, arts workers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Centres and other organisations.
