Double your impact today! Creative Partnerships Australia is generously matching all donations up to $110K until June 30.
This means that every dollar you give will go twice as far to help our colleagues across Australia survive and thrive in their artistic practices, as they seek to deal with experiences beyond their control that can so tragically end careers.
Our goal is to raise $110K by 30 June 2020. If every one of our subscribers donates just $3, we'll hit our matched funding target.
We rely on the generosity of donors to enable our important work to continue. Make a tax-deductible donation now and make a difference to the lives of Australian visual artists. Don’t miss out on your donation being doubled!
The COVID-19 pandemic is having a devastating impact on the visual arts. The COVID-19 shutdown has led to the cancellation or postponement of hundreds of thousands of hours of exhibitions, events, shows, workshops, performances and educational programs.
While obviously one of many sectors severely affected, the arts remains one of the worst-hit industries in Australia. Despite regular industry-united calls for sector-specific support measures, the Government has not met industry needs, with many artists and artsworkers still excluded from JobKeeper, JobSeeker and the business cash flow boost.
The Artists’ Benevolent Fund aims to provide one-off financial assistance to our colleagues across Australia when it’s needed most.
Whether the crisis is a result of COVID-19, fire, flood, storm, serious illness, major accident, declared state or national emergencies, or some other unexpected catastrophic experience, we are committed to helping Australia’s visual artists survive and thrive in their artistic practices, as they seek to deal with experiences beyond their control that can so tragically end careers.
