A new Member Portal and ArtsPay partnership
A new Member Portal launches on 22 September, alongside a new partnership with ArtsPay.
On 22 September 2026, NAVA will launch a new Member Portal, designed over several years around the specific needs of NAVA Members. It will make it easier to find Membership information, update details and payment information, join, renew or upgrade, and check history, including the particular requirements of Premium Plus Membership and insurance.
New Membership applications and renewals will be paused from 15–22 September while the new system is introduced. During this period, Members will also be unable to log in to access Membership documents, including the insurance certificates and Membership card, NAVA Guides, and Members-only Opportunities and Events listings.
Existing Memberships will carry over automatically. When the new Member Portal opens on 22 September, Members will need to reset their password before logging in for the first time. Anyone planning to join or renew should do so before 15 September or wait until the new portal opens. NAVA will provide Members with instructions for accessing the new portal before launch.
A new partnership with ArtsPay
NAVA has partnered with ArtsPay to process Membership payments through the new Member portal.
NAVA pays transaction fees on online Membership payments. ArtsPay is a for-purpose payments company that directs profits from these fees to the ArtsPay Foundation, which provides grants to independent artists and small arts organisations across Australia.
NAVA chose ArtsPay so that an existing operational cost can also contribute to supporting artists and organisations. There is no additional cost to Members.
The first stage of a bigger project
The new Member Portal is the first major stage in renewing NAVA’s digital platforms.
With the portal in place, NAVA will next begin work on a new public website, creating a clearer and more connected experience across the NAVA website, the Code of Practice for Visual Arts, Craft and Design and the Member Portal.
The work is being rolled out in stages. Once the Member Portal opens, NAVA welcomes feedback from Members about their experience using it. This will help inform further improvements to the portal and the work that follows.
