The Freedman Foundation is a private philanthropic organisation, which donates funding to the visual arts, music, medicine and science. Through NAVA, several emerging Australian artists and curators are supported by The Freedman Foundation each year, to travel overseas and gain inspiration and guidance in the development of their practice.

Established in 1997 in memory of the artist Penny Meagher, the emphasis of The Windmill Trust Scholarship for Regional NSW Artists is to assist artists from regional NSW to produce, promote and present their work.
