Australian Craft and Design Centres
The network of Australian Craft and Design Centres (ACDC) is a group of peak organisations from all states and territories in Australia that represent the professional craft and design sector. The organisations engage with the sector at a local, national and international level and offer services and programs that support sustainable practice.
Artisan
Artisan is Queensland’s Centre for Craft and Design, based in Fortitude Valley. They are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the presentation and advancement of authentic and innovative craft and design practice.
Australian Design Centre
Australian Design Centre is a leading centre for contemporary craft and design in Australia, based in Sydney. They play a critical role in building a significant design culture for this country by nurturing a nation of innovative makers and thinkers and inspiring audiences to use design in their lives.
Australian Tapestry Workshop
The Australian Tapestry Workshop, based in South Melbourne, is regarded as an international centre of excellence for innovative, contemporary, hand-woven tapestries, created in collaboration with leading artists, architects & designers.
Canberra Glassworks
Built and funded by the ACT Government, Canberra Glassworks is Australia’s only cultural centre that is wholly dedicated to contemporary glass art. At its core Canberra Glassworks is a working Glassworks that provides access to glassmaking facilities for glass artists.

Central Craft is a member-based organisation in Alice Springs that supports and promotes contemporary craft and design practice in Central Australia.
Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre
Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre is a not-for-profit membership based organisation which supports artists, craft practitioners, designers and makers at every stage of their careers. They promote and celebrate excellence and innovation in contemporary craft in everything they do – in the retail space, exhibitions, events and membership program.

Design Tasmania
Design Tasmania, based in Launceston, promotes contemporary craft and design and is home to the Design Tasmania Wood Collection plus a dynamic program of contemporary craft and design related exhibitions and programs.
FORM
FORM is an independent, non-profit cultural organisation that develops and advocates for excellence in creativity and artistic practice in Western Australia. Their activities span high-level artist development and exhibitions, place-making and strategy, social and multicultural engagement, cultural infrastructure development, Aboriginal cultural maintenance, research, and advocacy.
Guildhouse
Guildhouse, based in Adelaide, is the leading South Australian organisation supporting and creating connections for South Australian creative practitioners for 50 years. Guildhouse initiates opportunities, collaborates with creative institutions, businesses and the broader community to promote contemporary visual artists, craftspeople and designers.
JamFactory
JamFactory is a unique not-for-profit organisation located in the Adelaide city centre and at Seppeltsfield in the Barossa. They support and promote outstanding design and craftsmanship through their widely acclaimed studios, galleries and shops.
Sturt - Australian Contemporary Craft and Design
Sturt, located in Mittagong, was established in 1941 and is Australia's oldest craft centre. Sturt is a centre of excellence for the promotion and teaching of Australian contemporary craft and design. Sturt attracts over 50,000 visitors each year and is one of the major cultural attractions of the Southern Highlands region.
Tactile Arts
Tactile Arts is a member-based, community arts organisation located in the grounds of the Museum and Art Gallery, Darwin. Tactile Arts support artists and artisans throughout the Top End of Australia, hosting workshops, exhibitions, craft fairs and artist in residence programs.
