Create a living museum: Redfern Terrace
The City of Sydney is seeking Aboriginal artists, architects, filmmakers, sound designers and other creatives to reimagine Redfern Terrace as an iconic landmark and place of storytelling.
Showcasing contemporary and archival materials, it could be a museum, an artist studio or artwork – somewhere the community can share knowledge and creativity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for artists to set a benchmark for the contemporary artistic interpretation of social history.
This expression of interest is the first stage of a 5-stage development process for Redfern Terrace.
3 shortlisted proposals will be selected to go through to a tender stage.
Budget for the project is $750,000 excluding GST – this is on top of some base building works the City of Sydney will carry out.
