Exploring NAVA's Payment Standards

Join us for third instalment of NAVA's three-part online series with Arts North West, 'Exploring NAVA's Payment Standards', 5:30-6:30 pm AEDT online, Thursday 28 March 2024.

In the third and final instalment of NAVA’s online talks in collaboration with Arts North West, NAVA’s Membership and Projects Officer, Donnalyn Xu, will be exploring and dissecting NAVA’s Payment Standards. Learn how to advocate for your worth as an artist or arts worker by understanding industry standards around fees and wages. The session will share insights into how to use the Code to appropriately price your work and value your time, including exploring different types of artist fees and wages, and how to reference them in work and practice. Amid rising costs of living, it is essential that artists and arts workers are equipped with the tools they require to continue nourishing their practice while also getting paid fairly for their work.
