MPavilion and Art Monthly Australasia together with the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) are pleased to announce that Tess Maunder (Qld) is this year’s recipient of the MPavilion I Art Monthly Writing Award of $3,000.
Maunder will develop an essay utilising Archie Moore's A Home Away From Home (Bennelong/Vera's Hut) 2016 (pictured) as its case study. The essay will be published in the December 2016 issue of Art Monthly Australasia, which she will also present as part of the official 2016 season of MPavilion in Melbourne.
2015
MPavilion and Art Monthly Australia together with the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) are pleased to announce that Dr Julia Jones was the 2015 recipient of the inaugural MPavilion / Art Monthly Australia Writing Award of $3,000. Jones developed an essay which was published in the October 2015 issue of Art Monthly Australia which she will also presented as part of the official 2015/16 season of MPavilion in Melbourne.
