Five public hearings have been confirmed for the Senate Inquiry into the impact of the 2014 and 2015 Commonwealth Budget decisions on the arts and will take place across Australia over the next six weeks.

Five public hearings have been confirmed for the Senate Inquiry into the impact of the 2014 and 2015 Commonwealth Budget decisions on the arts and will take place across Australia over the next six weeks. This is great news following the huge result of 2,260 submissions received by the Senate Committee. You can read published submissions by the Senate Inquiry here. On 18 August 2015, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting for the inquiry until 26 November 2015.

These hearings are open to the public and we encourage as many people to go along and show their support. Audio from these hearings will also be streamed online.
