Develop: an exhibition of photomedia artist graduates at Museum of Australian Photography
Develop brings together a select showcase of 2023 Bachelor-degree graduates from Melbourne’s tertiary institutions, presenting work by emerging photographic artists. The annual exhibition provides a vital platform for each of the artists to exhibit their work as they develop their practice and move towards the next stage of their career.
As Australia’s only public museum dedicated to the collection of Australian photography, MAPh is excited to present these new works, while at the same time connecting the artists with our wider community.
With artists chosen from a range of universities and showcasing a variety of styles and techniques, this is a celebration of the next generation of Australian photographers. Hear from them at the Meet the artists event on 27 July, or view the exhibition before 25 August.
