Stitched Wearables with Melinda Young

Transform remnant textiles into a brooch, necklace or earrings.

As part of the Second Look - Legacy workshop series, this workshop focuses on surface transformation, colour and textural play. Using simple hand stitching, appliqué & cordage techniques, we will work with cloth, thread, beads, buttons & sequins to transform remnant textiles into a brooch, necklace or earrings. Participants are also welcome to bring a piece of clothing or a tote bag to embellish.
