IP and Protecting Creativity

Hosted by Natasha Sloman, an entertainment lawyer at Creative Lawyers in Sydney, this hands-on practical legal workshop is for artists who want to understand their rights and protect their work.

In this two hour session she will break down the fundamentals of intellectual property in plain, creative-friendly language, no legal jargon overwhelm and plenty of time to ask your burning legal questions about IP!

Whether you're a visual artist, designer, writer, musician, photographer, maker, small studio owner, or creative entrepreneur, if your ideas and work are your livelihood, this workshop is for you. As a creative, knowledge of the legal system is often overlooked but it can be your biggest strength if you know how to work around it.
