In September 2020, the Federal Government released a Consultation Paper and is calling for submissions to a national Indigenous Visual Arts Action Plan to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, and their cultural and economic interests.

Have your say on what’s needed for a stronger future for Indigenous visual art.

NAVA have pulled together the discussion notes from the four online workshops held over the last fortnight in collaboration with Create NSW as well as a template and tips to help you tell your stories and everyday experiences in a written submission.

You may choose to write your own submission or team up with friends and colleagues to write a joint submission.

Let’s ensure that the voices of stakeholders across the whole Aboriginal visual arts sector are highly visible in the national conversation about First Nations arts.

Submissions close 18 December 2020.
