*Important dates* The last day of Premium Plus application assessment will be 21 December 2022, so please submit any outstanding applications and payment by 20 December. We will begin assessing again after the holiday break on 10 January 2023. No applications will be assessed during the break. 

This Membership offers you 6 types of heavily discounted insurance plus all the other Premium membership entitlements. It is exclusively available for professional visual artists, curators, installers, registrars, conservators and arts administrators.

NAVA's Premium Plus membership includes 6 types of insurance:

  • Public Liability
  • Products Liability
  • Professional Indemnity Extension
  • Property in Custody or Control
  • Tenants Liability
  • Personal Accident

To qualify for Premium Plus you will need to complete and lodge the application form available on the right which will be assessed to determine your professional status. As a part of your application you will need to provide personal and work history details including an abbreviated curriculum vitae. Once your professional status has been determined, your information will be given to our insurance broker Local Community Insurance Services.

Applications take up to 7 working days to be processed. If you are deemed to be ineligible for the insurance package your money will be refunded within 10 working days. If your Premium Plus application is declined a $20.00 administration fee will be deducted from your refund. Please read the factsheet and professional assessment criteria linked below to ensure this is the right policy for you, also noting that it is exclusively available for professional visual artists, curators, installers, registrars, conservators and arts administrators.
